Old Friends

I'm a collector of perfect moments, but sometimes they can be too perfect. I find it hard to make photos from nothing, so unless the view inspires me, the camera stays in its bag.
Sunrise on a misty, frozen, morning from inside the stone circle at Stonehenge was such an inspirational and moving experience that I didn't make a single photo for the following three months. Everything I saw was compared to that morning, and pretty much lost in the "which is the most stunning" competition in my head. In the end, it took 7 months and a trip to Chamonix before I made another photo that I enjoyed.
