The End of the Bay
When I lived in Bristol, Dunraven Bay on the Glamorgan Heritage Coast was one of my favourite places to go with my camera. The beach is a fossilised sea bed that's slowly reappearing as the cliffs erode.

I find this image calm and peaceful, although the reality was that I could barely walk after running like a madman along a large section of the neighbouring beach and up this hill. My wonderful sunset shot that I had spent all day picking out started todisappear into shadow and under the sea, and a "plan B" was needed in a hurry. I happened to collapse in front of this gorse bush, and decided to make the most of it.
