Inverpolly Central

This is probably the most commonly seen view of Suilven and Cul Mor for those who like to walk for a while. Despite what us landscape photographers would have you believe, it's not normally soft glowing sunshine in the Scottish mountains. Most of my hill walks have looked a bit like this. Still, sometimes bad weather is more fun than sunshine.
I'd seen the forecast was for broken snow storms, so I drove up from Edinburgh in the morning to try and catch sunset. That was a bit of a non-event, but the blizzards blowing down the glen were quite photogenic. There's one just exiting stage-right here.
This was taken from roughly the same spot one month later.
