An Teallach and Beinn Ghobhlach (Large Panorama) - The North West Highlands of Scotland
An Teallach and Beinn Ghobhlach at evening twilight.

An Teallach (“The Forge”) is a mountain massif in the North West Highlands of Scotland, boasting 10 summits over 3,000 feet in height. Two of these, Bidean a' Ghlas Thuill and Sgùrr Fiona, are Munros. The traverse of An Teallach is a serious undertaking, where even the “easy path” requires a good head for heights.

Beinn Ghobhlach (“Forked Hill”) on the Scoraig peninsula isn’t as high as it looks. At 635m, it fails to even make the Corbett list. However, it is much less frequented than An Teallach, making it feel much more remote.

Despite being in an area known as “The Great Wilderness”, both mountains can be easily viewed from the road. This view is near the road north of Ullapool. Beannan Beaga is on Coigach, which marks the start of the stunning Assynt-Coigach National Scenic Area and the North West Highlands Geopark.

This panorama is available at 77cm by 18.7 cm and comes with an A4 information card (aka cheat sheet) that names all of the landmarks, so you can impress your guests with your intimate knowledge of the An Teallach skyline.
