Wild Escapes

There's something very relaxing about the quiet and solitude of the wilderness that just makes me feel at peace. If you ever want to get away from it all, then these are the places to go. Sitting back in a warm breeze, watching the sun set and the sky light up is a fabulous way to spend your time. It's hard to do anything but smile when the world's putting on a show.

This portfolio shows my favourite wild places. Some are more wild than others - true wilderness gets harder to find, and is sometimes not much more than a state of mind. On the plus side, it gets easier all the time to drive to the wilderness. I spend as much time as possible in these places, but when life chains me to my desk and computer, these pictures on my wall at least let my mind escape and be there.
